The European Schools are governed by a Convention signed by the Member States of the ECSC in Luxembourg on 12 April 1947 and subsequently revised to take into account the existence of other European Schools and the accession of other Member States.

The NCBs organise competitions at the national level, while the ECB runs a competition for European and international schools.

It is crucial to increase funding earmarked for the twinning of European schools at various levels within the education system.

What does being closer to our citizens mean from an institutional point of view, i.e. once we get past websites and discussions at the European School?
